Let Faith In
A heart cries out
For this and for that
Faith responds with a gentle voice
“This way,” Faith calls
Doubt bangs loudly on a board
Pushing Faith aside
Doubt screams
“No way, you can’t go there
It is for them not you
Your pedigree is unsuitable.”
On and on Doubt screams
Reason after reason upon reasons
Captivating the heart with many gyrations
Antics and drama enthralling
Faith stands by, beckoning, waiting.
There is but room for one
The heart must choose
The flaccid theatric logic of Doubt
The potent liberation of Faith
A choice to become, or to had been.
Between a crack
Faith’s bright light blazed
Heart for a moment turned
In Faith’s unwavering beckoning promise.
Yonder where Faith points
Lies uncharted beauty of the hereon
And the hereafter
Thither towards Doubt’s dramatic finger
A drab display of monotonic history.
A heart ready for more
The hand of Faith must take
For a walk into the creator’s garden
Where all dreams come alive
Yea and Amen pulsating everywhere.
